We set out with the goal of helping hospital workers figure out the best ways to handle the additional strain on resources due to COVID-19, but as we approach the peak in the U.S. we hope our models will help with predicting the spread of the COVID-19 for future outbreaks (a possible fall 2020 recurrence) and for epidemiological research purposes.
