An inertial electrostatic confinement fusion device, or fusor, uses a strong electromagnetic field to confine atomic nuclei in a small enough space that they can fuse, mimicking the nuclear reactions in the sun. Click the title to learn more!

A particle accelerator is any device that accelerates particles to relativistic (near -light-speed) velocities. The first kind I'm constructing is electrostatic, meaning it uses a large potential energy (voltage) difference in a vacuum to shoot particles, in this case, electrons.
